Guests aboard Cunard's Queen Elizabeth were part of an iconic moment in history as the Sydney Musical and Opera Society performed the classic musical Carousel at sea for the very first time (February 11-25).
This incredible production came to life aboard the stunning Queen Elizabeth, giving guests a truly unique and enchanting experience.
The guests witnessed a timeless masterpiece in a setting as grand and breathtaking as the performance itself.
Voted the best musical of the 20th Century by Time Magazine, this timeless classic featured iconic songs like "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "If I Loved You." With sell-out shows on Broadway and the West End, this romantic and thrilling tale surely swept Cunard guests off their feet.
In addition to performing Carousel in Concert, the cast also had the opportunity to present two additional concerts:
Rodgers & Hammerstein – showcasing some of Rodgers & Hammerstein's most iconic pieces, including Some Enchanted Evening, Getting to Know You, O What a Beautiful Morning, and Climb Ev'ry Mountain
